We offer private, in-home training in Bethlehem, NY and the surrounding areas. Each session runs 60 to 90 minutes. Lessons outside of the area will incur an additional travel fee depending on the distance and drive time.*
Types of Training
Build a strong training foundation and positive relationship while making learning fun! Puppies will begin to learn sit, down, stay, and come as well as how to walk properly on a leash. We also cover basic puppy care, housebreaking, and how to prevent and fix problem behaviors, such as jumping up, play biting, and inappropriate chewing.
All the basics a good dog needs to know! Your dog will learn sit, down, come, stay, and heel, and how to be well mannered, no matter where he goes with you. You’ll discover how to create a happy, fun relationship with your dog as you learn to communicate with each other through training and play time. These basic commands give you and your dog the tools you need to be successful in anything you do.
Behavior problems can be a big source of frustration for both dogs and their owners. Modification of behavior is possible in most cases, but requires time, patience, hard work, and consistency on the part of the entire family. To begin a modification program, we must first evaluate the dog in the environment in which the behavior is occurring, then outline a plan to reach the desired solution.

- Attention-seeking behaviors (whining, pawing, biting)
- Submissive urination
- Destructive behavior
- Separation anxiety
- Fear/phobias
- Excessive barking

(Dogs doing advanced obedience work MUST have a solid foundation in basic obedience.)

We are able to offer training and testing for 3 levels of the American Kennel Club's CGC program:

AKC Community Canine
AKC Urban CGC
Cost per test for our clients: $10 per test.
Cost per test for non-clients: $25 per test.
